Requirements

  • Demonstrate maturity, professionalism, confidence, assurance, and integrity as a management member

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the quality and accuracy of order preparation
  • Ensure product loading is monitored by warehouse management staff
  • Ensure special requests regarding product loading are handled correctly
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficiency of stocks and replenishment
  • Monitor loading schedule requirements
  • Analyze and evaluate causes of shipping errors
  • Develop team and individual objectives
  • Support the implementation of SSE-compliant programs
  • Develop and maintain communication with other departments to improve night warehouse organization and efficiency
  • Analyze, identify, and propose solutions to problems encountered during night warehouse operations
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite operations
  • Study and standardize procedures
  • Maintain harmony among workers and resolve conflicts with HR assistance
  • Supervise investigations regarding customer complaints related to damaged items or errors
  • Facilitate staff training and development
  • Support the creation of employee performance evaluations and review them
  • Provide feedback on associate performance by supervising activities and reports
  • Complete required records and forms
  • Assist HR measures as needed
  • Ensure accuracy of time sheets, approval, and schedule reports
  • Assist the food safety program manager in ensuring compliance with Sysco's food safety program leading to third-party certifications and customer requirements
  • Manage environmental, health, and safety performance by being a role model and holding the team accountable for SSE programs, policies, and requirements
  • Foster and adopt an inclusive culture
  • Develop and support high-performing talent through hiring practices, scheduling, performance coaching, and career management
  • Facilitate the establishment of clear performance objectives; ensure performance objectives adapt to changing business needs; identify and manage underperformers fairly and timely; identify and reward high performers; link compensation to performance through bonuses and recognition programs
