Experience in a fast-paced public company environment, a leadership role managing teams for over 3 years, and a proven ability to design and implement scalable processes and controls are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, along with comfort in a fully remote setting, are also necessary.
The Director, Revenue Accounting will lead all facets of revenue accounting, including month-end close, analysis, reporting, and technical accounting under ASC 606. This role involves overseeing contract reviews for revenue recognition implications, leading and mentoring a team of two revenue accountants, and partnering with Strategic Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Operations departments to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and compliance. The position also requires driving continuous process, system, and control improvements to support scalability and operational excellence, assisting with external audits and reviews, and contributing to ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
