Candidates need 5+ years in SOX compliance, internal audit, or public accounting (Big 4 preferred) with a public company that has physical inventory, a Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, or related field, strong understanding of SOX and internal controls, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Google Suite.
The role involves thriving in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Internal Audit, and IT, and fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.
Strong candidates have Big 4 public accounting experience, CPA, CIA, or CISA certification (or progress toward it), experience with SOX compliance tools, and familiarity with retail or consumer goods industries, in addition to meeting the core requirements.
