Requirements

Candidates should possess a college degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, or a related field, or equivalent experience of 5-10 years in facility or project management, preferably within a large organization. Prior experience managing people and managing property remotely is required. Industry certifications such as Real Estate License, BOMA, IFMA, PMP, or other Business Management or technical certifications are preferred. Proven success in managing a significant portfolio of owned and leased real estate, including a large number of facility locations and substantial operating and capital budgets, is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Real Estate Facilities Operations is responsible for the day-to-day facility management services, including corrective and preventive maintenance, and end-to-end responsibility for expense budgets. This role involves leading a team of employees, partnering with internal teams, and ensuring the safety and operational reliability of assigned real estate within budget parameters. Responsibilities include facilitating repairs, supervising staff and contractors, utilizing systems for service continuity and cost management, administering safety and disaster recovery programs, and traveling as required, serving as a 24x7 on-call contact. The manager will identify and manage capital and expense projects, develop replacement programs, balance contractor and budget resources, and interface with internal business units to meet facility requirements. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with leasing, landlord relations, environmental health and safety issues, facility audits, and serving as a communication point between Real Estate and other teams.
