Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in audit program management, quality management, or a related field in the energy industry, preferably in LNG
  • Strong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, international quality standards, and technical matters related to ASME and API codes and standards
  • Experience with audits, inspections, and vendor evaluations
  • Well-articulated with excellent written and verbal communication, planning, computing, technical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel, both domestic and international
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks, work within project deadlines and adjust as priorities change
  • Possess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance
  • Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practices
  • Have advanced computer experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, BI, Adobe, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC Card
  • Preferred: ASQ Certifications
  • Preferred: PMI Certifications (PMP, RMP)
  • Preferred: API/AWS/ASME Certifications

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain company quality programs, quality manuals, procedures, standard quality plans, NCR process, and SCAR workflows
  • Define minimum quality requirements for engineering, procurement, and construction contracts
  • Collaborate with SMEs to embed quality into design, procurement specs, and execution plans
  • Standardize QA documentation across suppliers and internal disciplines
  • Lead QMS onboarding and training for team members, inspection agencies, and contractors
  • Interface with regulatory bodies as needed to align company QMS with compliance obligations
  • Collaborate with quality team members to drive continuous improvement, lessons learned initiatives, and process efficiency
  • Drive a strong quality culture through direct engagement and oversight of quality representatives and inspection agencies acting on behalf of the company to support equipment delivery and project execution
