Requirements

Ability to manage a team of project managers focusing on high risk, large, complex gas projects in Connecticut & Massachusetts in a multi-external stakeholder environment
Proven leadership skills to manage team member performance and develop individuals through developmental behavior interaction techniques
Expertise to act as expert witness for state, community, and other regulatory evidentiary proceedings

Responsibilities

Ensure all phases of approved projects are completed efficiently, within scope, on schedule, and within budget
Work closely with management in Gas Operations, Engineering, Finance, Regulatory Relations, Legal, and Purchasing
Lead and support a team assigned to projects of complex design, GSEP & ARP mandated work, multi-disciplined nature, with multiple external stakeholders and elevated financial exposure
Coordinate regulatory approvals and interface with regulators, local elected officials, and town department managers
Manage development and process for evaluation of bid documents for engineering, design, construction, procurement of material, and support systems
Ensure all project aspects are documented and completed in accordance with company policies, regulations, and laws
Provide written and oral presentations to senior management, local/state governmental agencies, and outside organizations
Provide expert witness testimony for assigned projects at state, local, and other regulatory proceedings
Represent Eversource at municipal meetings, homeowner meetings, or other interested party meetings
Provide guidance and advice to less experienced personnel and develop others to produce a more productive workforce
Manage team member performance by identifying expectations, performance standards, and using timely feedback
Develop strategies and quarterly milestones to accomplish the annual capital work plan for Gas Operations
Conduct monthly program and project reviews
