Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
Extensive knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems
Knowledge of the construction industry and project management
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding safety, construction, and industrial regulations
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and other systems for analysis and reporting
No requirement for immigration sponsorship (must be authorized to work without company sponsorship)
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee a team of Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers, and Associate Project Managers
Lead the team to successfully execute the project portfolio
Act as subject matter expert for development, implementation, and oversight of programs and policies related to project management of electric system transmission, distribution, and substation facilities
Ensure projects are completed within schedules, budgets, and adherence to safety, system, construction, and industrial standards/specifications
Serve as Project Manager on assigned complex or high-risk projects, including strategic planning and execution from conception through completion
Select and oversee development of PM staff, fostering ownership, accountability, productivity, and quality
Manage performance by reviewing/evaluating team work, building consensus, communicating measures, and coaching for improvement
Ensure portfolio of projects is completed efficiently, on time, and within budget
Meet goals, policies, plans, standards, performance objectives, and budget for the portfolio
Ensure all project aspects are documented in accordance with company policies, regulations, and laws
Provide executive-level status reports for assigned projects and team's portfolio
