Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of package development professionals to develop, qualify, and commercialize packaging solutions for Surgical Sports and Spine businesses with DePuy Synthes
  • Maintain robust packaging solutions through a product’s entire lifecycle, focusing on quality, compliance, service, and cost efficiency
  • Drive accountability for all activities associated with end-to-end delivery of new and updated package designs
  • Identify and mitigate Package Development risks and drive quality output from supplier/design inputs through execution and output
  • Ensure responses to quality system findings (CAPA, nonconformance, audits) are consistent, robust, appropriate, and timely
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, and Packaging/Labeling PMOs to anticipate, understand, and adhere to global regulations
  • Develop talent and advance the team’s quality and compliance skills
  • Deliver projects using Process Excellence and project management tools, and lead team expertise growth in these areas
  • Maintain project prioritization and communications with all levels of the organization
  • Serve as a member of the DePuy Synthes Technical Operations Leadership Team
  • Develop new and efficient business processes to improve quality, service, and cost
  • Track and report department performance metrics
  • Actively coordinate the work of multiple team members
