Requirements

  • Based in Germany (Munich) or Switzerland (Basel) with pan-European responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of consulting projects in the supply chain/operations domain: develop work plans, manage timelines and resources, ensure high-quality outputs, and coordinate with client teams to gather data, provide updates, and drive implementation
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders: build strong working relationships, understand operational pain points and objectives, translate into project scopes and solutions, and present findings/status updates clearly
  • Provide hands-on expertise in Supply Chain Analysis & Design: conduct detailed analyses of supply chain performance (e.g., inventory levels, lead times, service levels), identify bottlenecks/risks, propose improvements, analyze end-to-end value chain, redesign processes using lean principles
  • Support Manufacturing & Distribution Network Projects: run scenarios on network redesign (e.g., consolidating/expanding sites, make vs. buy), evaluate impact on cost, capacity, resilience, and service levels
  • Assist in Localization & Outsourcing Strategies: perform supplier/CMO assessments, cost-benefit analyses of local vs. offshore manufacturing, develop risk mitigation plans (e.g., dual sourcing, safety stock)
  • Optimize Distribution & Logistics: map distribution networks and logistics flows, identify opportunities to reduce lead times/logistics costs (e.g., warehouse locations, delivery routes), propose solutions like route optimization, 3PL changes, or technology enhancements
  • Work on Advanced Therapy Supply Planning: design bespoke supply chain workflows for cell/gene therapies or high-value biologics, develop scalable processes to increase volume without compromising personalization
  • Lead workstreams to establish S&OP Implementation
