Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience building and growing geographically distributed teams that appreciate local operations and bring a global perspective, following standards
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in networking domain covering technologies in routing and switching such as EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, switching, etc
  • Ability to perform technical deep-dives into networking, operating systems, code, and storage, and be verbally and cognitively agile in strategy discussions with NVIDIA’s executive team and peer SMEs
  • Ability to identify trends and promote solutions that solve challenges efficiently across multiple product areas
  • Ability to leverage metrics on team performance and generate reports using tools such as ServiceNow and PowerBI
  • Excellent innovative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • 10+ overall years of combined experience in network architecture, network engineering, network SRE, and network operations, including 4+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong foundation in network operations and SRE

Responsibilities

  • Ensure and improve network health through operational signals and customer experience metrics
  • Work closely with leadership to evolve the current support model and processes to a more data-driven, automated, SRE model
  • Provide technical leadership, direction, and strategy for a growing team of reliability experts focused on networking support and operations
  • Set the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for network operations in partnership with key infrastructure and partner teams
  • Collaborate with Network Architecture, Network Deployment teams to establish run books, regular training sessions, and build self-healing networks
  • Understand RCAs from events and incidents and work with AI operations to enrich observability tooling for a better full-stack view of the network to applications
  • Influence the architecture of NVIDIA networks both on-prem and in the clouds
