Requirements

  • Advanced degree in health sciences: MBBS / MD / PhD in a medically related field required, with preference for Medical Degree and/or previous neuroscience therapy area experience
  • Previous MSL experience or Field-Based experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and effectively communicate deep scientific knowledge in the Neuroscience therapeutic area through continuous learning to answer deep scientific questions and serve as a trusted resource
  • Excel at customer engagement by spending the majority of time in field-based, customer-facing interactions, providing deep disease state and product information, and facilitating 2-way dialogues with scientific experts
  • Connect scientific experts with Lilly resources or internal business partners, and identify opportunities for collaborative research or external collaborations
  • Synthesize complex data from interactions with scientific experts and communicate meaningful clinical insights and unanswered questions to Lilly medical and cross-functional teams
  • Use creative problem-solving, principle-based decision-making, and internal networks to execute solutions, make decisions independently or escalate appropriately, and contribute to medical planning and strategy
  • Demonstrate strategic analysis, planning, and prioritization to develop and execute a strategic territory plan, maximizing efficiency and taking personal accountability for results
  • Execute the role in a compliant manner, adhering to all internal and external requirements, procedures, and laws, with good judgment
