Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant marine engineering experience, including supervisory or management roles
  • Proven expertise with LNG terminals, port infrastructure, or similar large marine projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the marine engineering team, ensuring high performance and technical quality
  • Oversee the design and engineering of marine structures including docks, berths, jetties, and marine terminals
  • Supervise development and integration of marine systems for LNG export facilities
  • Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (USCG, ABS, etc.)
  • Interface with internal stakeholders and external agencies to align marine engineering efforts with project objectives and schedules
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables for marine engineering activities
  • Lead risk assessments, safety reviews, and constructability analyses
  • Resolve technical challenges during design, construction, and commissioning phases
