Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize logistics and supply chain vendor management to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transportation and distribution services
  • Develop and maintain strategic and tactical relationships with logistics vendors, monitor performance against targets, and implement corrective actions
  • Define, design, and implement logistics processes and strategies to improve efficiency and support strategic goals
  • Lead contract negotiations with vendors, ensure favorable terms and compliance with legal/regulatory standards, and provide financial analysis support
  • Lead multiple logistics projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and act as Subject Matter Expert for supply chain initiatives and product launches
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis, prepare reports, resolve complex problems, and support development of goals and budgets
  • Oversee daily operations of the team, ensure efficient task completion, delegate tasks, and resolve day-to-day issues
  • Lead occupational staff, influence decisions on hiring, firing, disciplinary action, and promotions for subordinates
