Requirements

  • Highly motivated and experienced in sales, particularly in Issuing VAS or Value-Added Services
  • Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including issuers' needs, emerging trends, open banking, real-time payments, regulatory changes, and operational challenges
  • Comprehensive understanding of Visa's solutions, particularly Risk and Identity, Network services, Digital, and Loyalty solutions
  • Ability to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close sales opportunities
  • Proficiency in managing sales pipelines and processes, including timely updates in Microsoft Dynamics with market trends and competitive analysis
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key decision-makers and high client satisfaction focus
  • Collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Generalist Sellers, Sales Operations, Product, Sales Engineering, Strategy, Client Services, Digital Partners, Marketing, Finance, Technology)
  • Experience with Visa’s value-based sales methodology, post-sale commercialization, and mutual success planning

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the pipeline and end-to-end sales process for Issuing Solutions in Qatar and Kuwait
  • Manage and meet sales targets for Qatar and Kuwait Issuing VAS, including new revenue and existing revenue
  • Actively prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Identify high-potential clients and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates on sales activities in Microsoft Dynamics, providing insights into market trends and competitive analysis
  • Maintain high levels of client/prospect satisfaction through proactive outreach, insights, and follow-ups
  • Partner with the Generalist Sales team to prepare proposals, presentations, and sales materials highlighting Visa solutions
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to issuers, aligned with Visa’s purpose
  • Collaborate with various teams (Product, Client Services, Finance, Technology) for optimal client experience and product improvement
  • Promote understanding of critical success factors for revenue objectives
  • Provide input into sales collateral, marketing, and promotional activities to increase VAS awareness
  • Drive and achieve sales targets for Issuing VAS Solutions (Loyalty, Risk & Identity, and others), through new customer acquisition or upsell
  • Acquire new clients and support retention/growth of existing clients in partnership with market product teams
  • Understand clients’ challenges and apply Visa technology to drive solutions
  • Champion Visa’s value-based sales methodology, post-sale commercialization, and mutual success planning
