Five years related work experience (Accounting or Finance related experience preferred)
Supervisory experience preferred
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience (Finance or Accounting degree preferred)
Prior leadership experience is a plus
Higher in-office presence than a standard hybrid schedule (Tier 1 role)

Responsibilities

Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew; provides guidance and training to develop crew; sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with HR policies
Serves as a business leader within the fund accounting organization and guides consistency of global fund accounting oversight processes
Manages oversight activities for a suite of funds and works with cross-functional business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic and tactical initiatives to minimize risk and increase scalability
Maintains and grows key relationships with outsourced service providers to ensure service levels are met; tracks vendor performance and improves processes for service excellence
Works with management team on formation and execution of operational plans to achieve departmental, divisional, and corporate objectives
Leads process improvements for efficiencies and quality; fosters understanding of processes and their impact; works with senior management on communications plans
Maintains deep understanding of global products to drive business strategies; recommends changes in operating model and processes for efficiencies and global consistency
Contributes to development of crew members through fund accounting knowledge and expertise; serves as a resource and shares expertise
Proactively manages critical financial controls to ensure integrity in daily deliverables; assesses needs to enhance or change controls
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
