Ability to work in a hybrid role (3 days in office) from Radnor, PA, Houston, TX, or Kennesaw, GA

Responsibilities

Provide oversight and direction to Airgas Operations Support for dedicated professional sourcing employees and value creation services to assigned business unit or operating zone to support safety, efficiency, compliance, and savings initiatives
Manage NAM-led activities including competitive bidding, proposal analysis, negotiation of price and commercial terms, vendor management, and asset sales requisition handling
Handle administration including personnel management, reporting, process improvement, and strategic planning
Provide overall leadership and direction for the Airgas Operations Support team
Serve as liaison between Airgas business leaders, internal customers, and other procurement teams to maximize purchasing power
Ensure participation of all cluster’s internal stakeholders in procurement initiatives and support deployment and compliance in the field
Direct, plan, and coordinate recruitment, resource management, and performance management of Airgas Operations Support personnel
Develop short- and long-range strategic operational objectives to enhance team effectiveness, with emphasis on efficiency and meeting customer needs
Influence and lead Airgas business leaders to establish partnerships with Operations Support team for procuring strategies aligned with organizational plans
Proactively manage sourcing activity for major capital, maintenance, and plant turnarounds (TAR)
Develop frame agreements for regionalized spend detailing expectations, roles, responsibilities, continuous improvement, and consequences of failure
Establish Operations Support processes, policies, and procedures; procure support and guidance for customers, vendors, and staff
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures internally and externally
Develop and manage Airgas Operations Support metrics and balanced scorecard
Develop, review, and evaluate financial and productivity reports to identify expense reduction and operational improvement areas
Meet regularly with Field Sourcing and SCM Category Management teams to review project status and centralized sourcing needs to leverage Air Liquide buying power
Contribute to the Supplier Relationship Management (Business Review) program
Network with SCM Strategic Initiatives team for supplier and market intelligence
Network with SCM Digital Procurement team on supply chain enablement technologies
Act as a change agent to design and implement purchasing services transformation
Promote continuous improvement principles in short- and long-range analysis to enhance supply chain effectiveness
