Requirements

  • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power systems

  • Ability to drive business plans, identify needs, remove barriers, measure performance, and develop contingency plans
  • Supervisory skills for selecting, training, mentoring associates, conducting evaluations, and fostering team environments

Responsibilities

  • Direct heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance operations, including evaluating projects, facility/equipment needs, and developing procedures
  • Oversee execution of sustainability initiatives, review schedules, resolve vendor/contractor issues, and provide technical training
  • Manage complex projects by prioritizing assignments, planning work, supervising progress, inspecting completions, creating punch lists, and verifying requisitions/timecards
  • Direct regional field operations by developing goals, approving activities, controlling costs, tracking preventive maintenance, monitoring contractors, and reviewing progress
  • Ensure financial sustainability by developing/approving budgets, evaluating ROI, approving contracts/invoices, and determining resource needs
  • Review budget plans, verify cost estimates, approve purchases, provide technical assistance, and confirm receipts
  • Maintain project oversight by ensuring timelines, coordinating changes, managing costs, monitoring status, communicating schedules, and preparing estimates
  • Manage department budget by analyzing data/trends, validating spending, reviewing invoices, developing reports, approving expenditures, handling warranties, and ensuring landlord compliance
  • Ensure compliance with HVAC/R laws/regulations by reviewing them and conducting inspections
  • Drive business plans/projects by identifying needs, communicating priorities, providing resources, measuring progress, and supporting learning
  • Provide supervision/development for associates through training, mentoring, evaluations, recognition, coaching, and promoting belonging
