Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Managers and their engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff
Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules
Foster a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
Oversee the maintenance of all facilities, utilities, and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs
Oversee the lifecycle management of equipment from procurement to disposal
Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications
Ensure and adopt a culture of technical machine support pertaining to OEE and its variables
Ensure the Equipment Engineers and managers are proficient and excellent in process equipment, troubleshooting, technical resolution methods
Foster a policy of excellence and principal expertise
Lead an automation team responsible for the integration, performance, and evolution of digital control systems and data platforms across the campus
Responsible for in-house repair, refurbishment, prototyping, and advanced manufacturing capabilities in the maintenance workshop
Optimize resource allocation and manage inventory of spare parts and tools
Develop and manage the maintenance, equipment engineering, facilities/utilities, and special projects budget
Lead and manage facility upgrade and expansion projects
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Manage and oversee the daily operations of services
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
Coordinate with external providers and negotiate contracts
Monitor consumption and analyse data to identify areas for improvement
Prepare and manage the budget for utilities, including forecasting future needs
Lead and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff
Respond to emergencies and coordinate repairs and maintenance work
Liaise with other departments to support their equipment-related needs
