Requirements
Advanced knowledge of SQL programming
Advanced knowledge of reporting platforms/tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Advanced knowledge of workflow and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau Prep)
Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary

Responsibilities
Creates dashboards and reports based on the needs of end users
Incorporates end user requests and requirements to develop an enterprise reporting solution
May assist in training users on reporting tools
Supports the user community in the use of business intelligence tools to query tables and databases for self-service analytics
Optimizes queries and reports to improve performance, making changes as needed
Participates in the design and development of the system, as well as creation of user documentation
Leads initiatives to design and build reporting tools, information dashboards, data generators, and other end-user information portals or resources
Leads discussions with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements
Advises on the relevancy of data and identifies alternative data sources as needed to ensure analytics requested by business stakeholders can be completed
Oversees analyzation of large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools
Reviews and communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decisionmakers
Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides technology-based data reporting tools and management for business segments or the company at large
Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations based on company reporting and data needs
Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function
Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies
Assists in development and meeting of departmental budget
Keeps abreast of strategies, trends, initiatives, and best practices within the Company and competitive landscape
