Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 8 years of experience as a software engineer. They should have experience working with authentication and authorization services, including Golang or similar technologies, and a proven track record of shipping high-quality software in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong design and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for engineering excellence, security, and performance, are also required.

Responsibilities

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to drive and deliver on both roadmap and technical strategy, focusing on internal and external authentication and authorization services capable of making 1 trillion+ decisions per day. You will be instrumental in hiring, retaining, and growing a team of highly talented engineers within a remote-first environment, while effectively collaborating with engineers, product managers, support, and sales engineering teams. Furthermore, you will contribute to building and maintaining large distributed systems at scale, ensuring a high-fidelity, high-trust environment, and fostering an engaging environment for your team.
