Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience leading creative teams
  • At least 5 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
  • Creative portfolio of work, including produced work for website design and integrated marketing campaigns (required for consideration)
  • Preferred: 5 or more years of experience as a Creative Director
  • Preferred: 2 or more years of experience directly managing a creative team
  • Preferred: 2 or more years of experience in digital design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
  • Preferred: Experience at a large in-house creative team
  • Preferred: Experience working with a Fortune 100 brand
  • Preferred: Experience storyboarding, sketching or wireframing CX and UI/UX
  • Preferred: Experience with premarket and in-market testing tools
  • Preferred: Experience creative directing photo and video shoots
  • Preferred: Experience leveraging GAI, personalization and optimization tools in creative development and marketing

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the team to develop strategically-grounded, insight-driven creative
  • Manage creative talent (Art Directors, Graphic Designers, and Copywriters), including full-time associates, contractors, and agencies
  • Empower and inspire full-time associates through coaching and career development
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists and internal business clients to understand customer needs, influence marketing strategy, and enhance customer experience
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of advertising and marketing trends and translate business intent into creative strategies and executions
  • Interpret market research and test results to focus targeted marketing messages for the intended audience
  • Build and maintain relationships with partner groups (digital, operations, legal, etc.) to address obstacles and position Brand Creative as a strategic thought partner
  • Present and influence with a convincing and inspiring style to gain buy-in and create opportunities for the team and department
