Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role (audit experience is a plus)

Experience in using SAP (is a plus)

Responsibilities

Oversee month-end closing, journal postings and reconciliations
Provides complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business
Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making
Provides analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business
Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities
Identifies issues and proposes solutions
Represents finance on cross-functional teams
Prepares and reviews financial information related to indirect tax matters (VAT, WHT)
Prepares and reviews local financial statement and any other related accounting compliance work
Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts
