Degree in accounting or finance

Responsibilities

Oversee non-revenue-related accounting activities, including operating expenses and cost of revenue, ensuring accuracy of non-revenue-related balance sheets and optimizing financial operations for employee expenses and vendor payments
Own the financial reporting and close process, including accounts payable and expense-related journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and maintaining/strengthening internal controls to meet SOX requirements
Serve as a U.S. GAAP expert, supporting accounting and reporting for Leases (ASC 842), Stock-Based Compensation (ASC 718), Prepaids, Accruals, Other Liabilities, and Inventory Accounting; prepare audit schedules and partner with internal/external auditors
Lead end-to-end accounts payable and expense reimbursement processes, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, employee expense programs, and annual 1099 processing
Manage and develop a team of financial reporting professionals, including establishing KPIs, providing guidance/training, and conducting performance evaluations
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows, strengthen financial processes, communicate financial information/insights to senior management/stakeholders, and support budgeting/forecasting
