Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage and monitor sales of integrated communication structure to small-to-medium business customers to maximize revenues and meet corporate objectives
  • Assure optimal sales team staffing and training readiness of sales professionals
  • Develop financial and operational objectives and ensure operational plans align with business objectives
  • Contribute to functional strategy development
  • Support and ensure sales results in direct sales channels by deploying sales programs, identifying best practices and process improvements
  • Ensure competence and continuity of qualified small-to-medium business Account Executives through selection, training, development, appraisal and motivation
  • Develop, plan and coordinate sales promotions and incentives to meet business goals
  • Ensure team and individual achievement of sales, quality goals and standards
  • Monitor employee performance, counsel and advise employees, address personnel/performance issues per Company Policy
  • Prepare, analyze and maintain records of sales and performance activities; ensure accurate forecasts of revenue and unit metrics
  • Design, implement and manage territory team structure; coordinate with internal teams for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and implement best practices contributing to improved performance by leading by example and modeling Company Credo, Touchstones and Promise
  • Coach, develop, appraise and motivate sales representatives to achieve/exceed objectives
  • Educate sales professionals in sales planning tactics and ensure compliance with training requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
