Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including roles as a Controller or Director of Accounting, and a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). They should also have experience leading and developing accounting teams, managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other operational accounting functions, as well as experience with Workday ERP and automation tools.

Responsibilities

As the Management Company Controller, the individual will lead and develop the Management Company Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, establishing accounting policies and procedures, managing day-to-day operational needs, supporting budget variance reporting, assisting with tax matters, and leading the annual financial audit process. They will also work with the CFO and other finance leaders to implement and enhance financial systems and processes.
