Requirements

  • FAA certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in aircraft maintenance for a Part 121, 135, or 145 environment
  • Authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
  • Pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to meet physical demands: stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, use hands/fingers for tools; lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs; work various shifts in 24-hour environment; exposure to noise, temperature, wind, light; work in confined areas; sit at computer for extended periods; wear PPE; some travel
  • Regular attendance
  • Report to work during national/state emergencies unless prohibited

Responsibilities

  • Perform direct maintenance on aircraft, components, or related parts in accordance with Allegiant Air Continuous Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP), company policies/procedures, manufacturer’s manuals, bulletins, orders, and FAA requirements
  • Overhaul, maintain, and repair airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication, navigation equipment, and associated components
  • Attach appropriate tags to all parts removed from an aircraft per Allegiant Air policy
  • Be constantly alert for defective, worn, or failed parts and safe working conditions
  • Properly execute an Airworthiness Release
  • Sign for accomplishment of work on applicable work forms and records
  • When qualified, perform duties of Inspector per manual
  • Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly; perform housekeeping duties including policing work/repair area and maintaining company property
  • Process all necessary paperwork as mandated by regulation
  • Other duties as assigned
