Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines, and systems
  • Ensure quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process
  • Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems
  • Evaluate mechanical products for cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions
  • Perform engineering work in operations, production, or maintenance environments
  • Design and scale up manufacturing processes, instruments, and equipment
  • Test manufactured products to maintain quality
  • Plan, design, and estimate time and cost for maintenance of structures, facilities, systems, and components
  • Analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment, systems, or component failures
  • Develop and apply engineering standards and procedures; provide advice on engineering issues
  • Perform PM tasks (Preventive Maintenance, BDA) on assigned equipment based on schedule or requirement
  • Attend to breakdowns of assigned equipment in a timely manner
  • Support AM tasks (equipment defect resolution, inspection, lubrication, skills transfer to operators)
  • Carry out continuous improvement tasks related to assigned equipment in alignment with Site CBN objectives
  • Manage tools and spare parts for assigned equipment
  • Supervise work done by external contractors in line with management, safety, and legal requirements
