High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Strong communication skills (written and verbal); ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
Minimum of 3 years electrical maintenance in production environment or 5+ years in industrial maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot and repair 480v electrical/mechanical systems and troubleshoot control voltage
Ability to repair all plant machinery safely and in a timely manner
Previous manufacturing experience
Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and use of a PC
Ability to lift moderately heavy items (over 25 and up to 75 pounds), stand for periods, and routine ladder climbing
Ability to run conduit, move machinery, and do basic rigging
Preferred: Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Training; 3+ years Industrial Electrical Maintenance experience; VFD and PLC experience; Experience with CMMS; Strong organization and time management skills; Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, prioritize, and work in multi-tasked environment; Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities under minimal supervision; Must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge and troubleshooting ability of industrial electrical and pneumatic systems; must demonstrate ability to work safely with 480v 3Φ
Installs and evaluates equipment modifications to ensure maximum effectiveness
Completes assigned tasks safely and in a timely manner; must be able to document all work performed by end of shift by spreadsheet and email
Maximizes equipment operational safety and reliability
Follows all O.S.H.A. safety programs along with corporate safety policies and best practices
Operates with sense of urgency and attention to detail
Always maintains safe work environment by cleaning up area after a job
Maintains 5S Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma in maintenance department at all times
Performs other duties as assigned
