Requirements

1 year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent experience
Education preferred: industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school (in lieu of experience)
Basic computer skills for logging information, processing work orders, and using CMMS
Effective communication skills
Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; lift 20 lbs. frequently
Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
Ability to work in confined/tall spaces, walk, climb ladders, operate lifts, bend, stoop
Repetitive gripping, pushing, pulling; frequent overhead work
Ability to work in temperatures from -25°F to over 100°F (inside/outside)
Must reside in the US (no sponsorship)
Prior Tyson Team Members not considered

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision for safe and effective equipment operation
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment
Interact effectively with plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
