Requirements

Candidates are required to have previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician for at least one year, a high school diploma, and any additional relevant certifications such as HVAC or CMRP are considered advantageous. In-depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods, manual dexterity, attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills, and problem-solving aptitude are also required.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will complete work orders within designated time frames, keep properties clean and looked after, complete turn-overs on all apartments within five days of move-out, survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure consistency with health and safety standards, perform maintenance of electrical systems, maintain and repair plumbing and heating components, prepare, prime, and paint building surfaces, maintain and repair locks and doors, maintain and complete documentation for fire safety systems, perform manual repairs, participate in ongoing training programs, and maintain a clean and safe work environment while documenting work performance and materials procurement as directed.
