Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial building maintenance experience
  • Variety of skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC certification
  • Ability to oversee building inspections, procure bids, manage building operations, leasing, and projects
  • Ability to delegate tasks and develop work lists and schedules for Facility Maintenance Technicians

Responsibilities

  • Oversee building inspections, procuring bids, building operations, leasing and projects, as needed
  • Delegate tasks and put together work lists for Facility Maintenance Technicians
  • Develop schedule for regular inspection of HVAC, doors, interior/exterior lighting, roof, and general premises
  • Maintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety, and building security including fencing
  • Direct Facility Maintenance Technicians in repairing mechanical equipment
  • Maintain upkeep of maintenance performance log
  • Perform electrical work including bulbs/ballast replacement, plumbing, painting, and carpentry as required
  • Hold keys to every area, ensuring they are always marked and organized
  • Maintain landscaping and snowplow vendors
  • Maintain HVAC contractor
  • Maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors
  • Maintain inventory list for janitorial, mechanical, and electrical supplies
  • Move equipment, tools, or supplies between properties as required
  • Run errands including picking up supplies at various vendors
  • Assign duties of touch-up painting and drywall patching as needed
  • Perform miscellaneous troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Monitor utility usage and manage building energy including building automation system
