Candidates need a minimum of 1 year of experience in a technician position with knowledge of gasoline and diesel powered equipment, basic understanding of work order labor time standards, and skills in chassis components, refuse bodies, engines, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, welding, and fabrication. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (T1-T8) and a Commercial Driver’s License are pluses but not required; a valid Driver’s License is required.
