Requirements

Ability to use hand tools and tools of the trade
Physical ability to lift at least 40-50 lbs and stand throughout most of the shift
Minimum of 1 year of Facility, Maintenance and/or Automotive Mechanic work experience documented in work history, or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program
Ability to communicate effectively with good written and verbal skills
Attention to detail and ability to work as a team member (recommended)
Welding experience (preferred but not required)
Associate’s Degree or equivalent in a formal mechanic training program (preferred)

Responsibilities

Analyze mechanical & operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
Perform preventative maintenance
Assist in equipment installation when required
Other duties within the Maintenance Department as assigned, inclusive of facility improvements
