Requirements

  • Ability to use hand tools and tools of the trade
  • Physical ability to lift at least 40-50 lbs and stand throughout most of the shift
  • Minimum of 1 year of Facility, Maintenance and/or Automotive Mechanic work experience documented in work history, or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program
  • Ability to communicate effectively with good written and verbal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work as a team member (recommended)
  • Welding experience (preferred but not required)
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent in a formal mechanic training program (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze mechanical & operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Assist in equipment installation when required
  • Other duties within the Maintenance Department as assigned, inclusive of facility improvements
