Requirements

Ability to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
Knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and other maintenance-related areas
Ability to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders, fill out daily documentation, perform preventative maintenance routines, confirm time, record daily activities, and create equipment history
Ability to read and write where required, communicate with management and co-workers, process paperwork, and use math for work-related computations (e.g., machinery, fluid capacities)
Willingness to lift, push, pull up to 70 lbs., climb stairs and ladders daily
Willingness to work in cold environments (-10 to 80 degrees), weather-exposed areas (rain, heat, cold, insects), wet/slippery conditions, on concrete floors, in loud noise requiring hearing protection, and stand for 8-12 hours
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Willingness to complete all required job training
1 year of industrial maintenance experience or education
Provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history
