Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably in an industrial or outdoor setting
  • Basic experience in electrical and plumbing systems
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance across the lumber yard, including buildings, equipment, and outdoor structures
  • Execute carpentry tasks such as repairing or constructing shelving, fencing, gates, and other wood-based structures
  • Assist with basic electrical repairs including lighting, outlets, and minor wiring issues
  • Support plumbing maintenance including pipe repairs, fixture replacements, and water system upkeep
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safety
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently in an outdoor, industrial setting
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used
  • Collaborate with yard and production teams to support operational needs
