Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Mainframe application development and support
  • Mainframe, CardLink / Vision Plus
  • COBOL, CICS, JCL
  • VSAM and Sequential Datasets
  • NoSQL Database (as applicable)
  • Mainframe ZOS environment
  • Practical experience with SDLC processes and change management tools
  • Prior experience in banking projects, preferably in the Cards domain
  • Nice to Have: Easytrieve
  • Nice to Have: Authorization system knowledge
  • Nice to Have: Job scheduling, debugging, and performance optimization tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Mainframe-based Cards applications using COBOL, CICS, and JCL
  • Support and enhance CardLink / Vision Plus modules related to card issuance, transaction processing, and settlement
  • Work with VSAM and Sequential Datasets for batch and online transaction processing
  • Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and post-production support
  • Collaborate with QA, business, and operations teams to ensure high-quality and stable system delivery
  • Provide technical support, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues in production environments
  • Ensure adherence to change management, security, and compliance standards
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for development and support activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist in streamlining Mainframe development practices
