Must pass Machine Set-Up Test
May be required to have tow motor license
High School Diploma or GED (applies to anyone hired after 1997)
Ability to mount, position, and adjust various cutting tools, adapters, collets, pushers, cams, threading devices, and other tooling as needed to make a quality part per drawing specifications and set-up guidelines
Ability to set proper feeds and speeds to ensure consistent quality parts
May be responsible for programming CNC machinery, including designing and formulating programs to produce parts per blueprint specifications
Ability to create and troubleshoot programs, and make necessary adjustments to programs or machine settings
Driven, quick-moving, calm, positive, team-oriented, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Mount, position, and adjust various cutting tools, adapters, collets, pushers, cams, threading devices, and other tooling as needed
Set proper feeds and speeds to produce quality parts consistently
Program CNC machinery, design and formulate programs to meet blueprint specifications
Create and troubleshoot programs, make adjustments to programs or machine settings
Assist supervisor to ensure schedules are met
Assist other team members to ensure quality product and smooth flow
Train, instruct, and assist other operators as required
Move stock and material
Operate machinery as specified
