Requirements

Minimum of 2 months of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
Experience with electronic standard work or standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Comfort working in cross-functional teams and contributing to problem-solving
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Must meet expectations for Quality, Attendance, Station Certification, and CAT Values in Action
Must meet expectations in Safety Orientation, Responsibility, Thoroughness, Flexibility, Sense of Duty, Achievement, & Learning Potential
Must follow all facility safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Operate machining equipment to produce high-quality parts free of defects
Maintain records related to inventory, quality, defective parts, and equipment
Maintain a safe and clean workstation
Meet or exceed production standards as set by the company
Submit and assist with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
Follow standard operating procedures and specific work instructions
Communicate with supervisors and managers about processes within the assigned area
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production goals
