Responsibilities

Operate automated and semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries
Make minor adjustments during troubleshooting
Recognize and diagnose machine problems
Participate in operator preventative maintenance of equipment such as cleaning, greasing, and replacing small parts
Perform visual inspection of machines for quality or productivity problems
Perform required quality checks as trained
Operate machinery by controlling and adjusting machine settings
Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
Verify that product meets quality standards and keep records of approved and defective units
Clean equipment, tools, etc. and surrounding area between jobs
Follow all safety, quality and production specifications, instructions, written and verbal
