Requirements

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with over 3 years of software industry experience, including at least 2 years focused on developing, evaluating, and deploying ML models. Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, analytics, and programming languages like Python, GoLang, Java, or SQL is essential. Familiarity with cloud development on Azure or AWS, expertise in at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch), and experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt-engineering are required. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

This includes implementing machine learning systems, addressing engineering challenges like API definition and UI integration, and developing criteria for evaluating model and system performance. The role involves participation in the full product lifecycle, from construction to deployment and production operations, and providing leadership in architectural development, technology selection, and holistic evaluation of machine learning models.
