Requirements

  • Ability to physically bend, twist and kneel in a safe and efficient manner

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated and semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries
  • Make minor adjustments during troubleshooting
  • Recognize and diagnose machine problems
  • Participate in operator preventative maintenance of equipment such as cleaning, greasing, and replacing small parts
  • Perform visual inspection of machines for quality or productivity problems
  • Perform required quality checks as trained
  • Operate machinery by controlling and adjusting machine settings
  • Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
  • Verify that product meets quality standards and keep records of approved and defective units
  • Clean equipment, tools, etc. and surrounding area between jobs
  • Follow all safety, quality and production specifications, instructions, written and verbal
