Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience, along with at least 2 years of general logistics coordination experience. Relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications are preferred, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software are necessary. Proven negotiation and problem resolution skills, excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are also required.

Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator – Maintenance will ensure a high level of support, service, reliability, and availability to internal departments by coordinating, supporting, and performing logistics and administrative work. This role involves supporting day-to-day operations of study setup, ensuring compliance with company good practices and client requirements, completing ongoing training on new regulations, participating in department project teams, and potentially serving as a liaison cross-functionally. Responsibilities also include overseeing drug product/medical device receipt, ordering, storage, labeling, inventory management, distribution, return drug accountability, and destruction, tracking inventories and expiration dates, issuing monthly status reports, arranging purchases of additional supplies, maintaining updated metrics indicators reports, and coordinating or managing group email boxes. Additionally, the position involves investigating and drafting quality events, performing root cause analysis, collaborating with Quality Assurance, overseeing vendor non-compliance, and escalating issues to leadership.
