Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible court, legal, logistics, or probation experience including two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience
- OR Combined Education and Experience Qualifications: An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and job-related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis
- Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles
- Knowledge of implementing and managing administrative and logistics functions, goals, policies, and procedures within an organization
- Knowledge of customer service standards and practices
- Knowledge of budgeting and accounting practices
- Skill in supervising and evaluating assigned staff and coordinating the work of subordinates
- Skill in the use of computer applications, including email, spreadsheets, databases and word processing software
- Skill in decision making by considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and choosing the most appropriate one
- Ability to plan, organize and implement activities in a team environment
- Ability to use effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks at one time with numerous interruptions in a high volume, fast paced environment

Responsibilities
- Manages the department’s equipment, fleet, inventory, and provides direction and oversight to the equipment unit staff within Juvenile Probation
- Monitors daily operations of the equipment unit to ensure goals and objectives of the department are being met
- Supervises, organizes, assesses, and evaluates the workload of staff
