Requirements

  • 10+ years full lifecycle experience in loads development and verification for aerospace systems
  • Expertise in CLA, Craig Bampton, load derivation, and structural verification
  • Ability to adjust analysis fidelity to match program maturity and risk posture
  • Proven leadership in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program
  • Ability to scale analytical rigor to match program maturity and risk
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate across hardware and software boundaries
  • Demonstrated expertise with SINDA/FLUINT, Thermal Desktop, or equivalent tools
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
  • U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret
  • Located near Denver or Colorado Springs (hybrid with some on-site work)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical execution of a next-generation missile defense program
  • Establish processes and standards for structural and thermal loads development
  • Develop and validate Coupled Loads Analyses (CLA)
  • Derive Mass Acceleration Curves (MAC)
  • Decompose system loads into design criteria and verification requirements
  • Collaborate with structures, dynamics, and test engineers to ensure integrity and performance
