Responsibilities

Uses forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to safely move and position items onto the vehicle
Inspects for damages, defects, or other issues and reports quality concerns to supervisors
Arranges load requirements to maximize trailer use, minimize imbalance, unnecessary movement, and damage
Conducts preliminary safety checks of equipment, checks orders, and verifies trailer size and number
Assists in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Contributes to maintaining accurate inventory records, tracks stock levels, monitors product availability, and ensures accurate record-keeping
Ensures correct products, quantities, and specifications match order requirements by checking labels, SKU numbers, and other identifying information
Determines balanced weight distribution on the truck for stability and accident prevention
Coordinates with warehouse personnel, drivers, or other loaders for smooth loading operations
