Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in-house or in a law firm supporting corporate clients. Experience with document review and production is required, along with a basic understanding of rules for responding to discovery requests such as subpoenas and document demands. A Bachelor's degree and a Paralegal certificate are preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
The Litigation Paralegal will support litigation counsel on general litigation matters, pre-litigation disputes, and discovery management, including interviews, document collection, and working with e-discovery teams. Responsibilities include managing legal holds, subpoena responses, and document production, as well as maintaining matter management software, tracking deadlines, and updating dockets. The role involves producing reporting metrics, preparing proof of claims in bankruptcy proceedings, assisting in process optimization, and supporting attorneys in preparing for arbitrations, mediations, hearings, and trials. The paralegal will also assist with immigration files and perform other related duties as assigned.
