Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering); Preference Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production
  • English speaking (minimum Intermediate)
  • Previous experience on project coordination/multi-functional teams
  • Active & valid CNH (local authority license to drive vehicles)
  • Availability to work in different shifts and weekend
  • Specific to work in São José dos Campos (on site)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead diverse/cross-functional teams as well as mentor, motivate and elicit work output from peers and other team members
  • Spanish is a plus
  • It will be a differential to have worked with field/customer issue analysis
  • Knowledge Quality Metrics (internal and external), GSIP, BIQ, MERS and GPS internal system (Flexnet)

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Global Propulsion System Plants to work on customer and field quality issues and promote a closing and good relationship with this customers
  • Support the GPS Plant on issue definition, preliminary root cause and apply properly technical solutions
  • Monitoring Customer issues and communicate responsible areas to track problem solving and participate/arrange specifical meetings to follow action plan status
  • Strong problem-solving skills with focus on quality continuous improvement and cost avoidance/waste
  • Maintain awareness of quality standards, and communicate department quality goals, and leverages resources to solve quality issues
  • Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment
  • Participates in the training, developing and evaluating of hourly team members
  • Participates in the development of highly effective teams
