Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, any engineering, or relevant experience
  • Required experience in similar position: 2 or more years
  • Intermediate–advanced English, able to hold a conversation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of pull systems
  • Experience in material supply to production lines
  • Experience in personnel supervision
  • Experience in monitoring minimum stock levels and reporting critical items
  • Experience in tracking and reporting area KPIs
  • Available to change shifts (4x3)

Responsibilities

  • Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives
  • Guides one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives
  • Communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers
  • Supports relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers
  • Understands and assesses complex supply chain issues and leads teams in a cross-functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production
  • Assesses supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to develop creative solutions
  • Summarizes critical issues with resolutions and communicates to leadership
  • Handles very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation
  • Analyzes metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution
  • Is flexible and at times works extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution
  • Travels to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out
  • Problem tackles complete issues and implements new and innovative strategies
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of Supply Chain functions
