Requirements

Proficiency in LiDAR technology
Proficiency in CAD software (such as MicroStation/TopoDOT, AutoCAD)
Familiarity with GIS applications
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
High level of accuracy in data processing and design
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Capable of troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions
Associate’s degree (preferred)
Previous experience in Geospatial data collection, working with LiDAR data in a CAD environment or surveying (preferred)

Responsibilities

Operate, calibrate, and maintain LiDAR sensors mounted on ground-based vehicles, static-based, or drones
Ensure proper functioning of all equipment, including GPS units and cameras
Conduct field surveys to capture LiDAR data in various terrains and conditions
Collaborate with LiDAR team lead to plan survey routes or flight paths
Use CAD software (such as MicroStation/TopoDOT, AutoCAD) to create detailed maps, plans, and 3D models based on calibrated LiDAR data and imagery
Develop topographic maps, terrain models, and other graphical representations
Perform quality control and ensure the accuracy of the data
