Requirements

Strong machining background with experience in boring, milling, drilling, and reaming
Knowledge of CNC programs and ability to make offset adjustments
Ability to machine engine components using lathes, mills, drills, boring machines, and/or grinders
Ability to use various gages to verify part quality
Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of machining principles, basic SPC, blueprint reading, understanding of geometric tolerances, ability to interpret CMM reports, quality data, and work experience in a lean manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, medium to heavy duty assembly, technical environment, including frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing, standing on concrete for 8+ hours
Ability to lift 40 pounds and withstand frequent repetitive movement of hands with a variety of tooling
Ability to perform tasks on a moving conveyor under time constraints (some positions)
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, work on platforms, and at heights (some positions)
Ability to work in confined spaces (some positions)
Ability to wear a respirator (some positions)
Ability to lift and manipulate engine components during the assembly process
Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools as well as automatic torque equipment

Responsibilities

Responsible for production, quality, housekeeping, and other related duties associated with operations
Set up and operate NC machines, transport material, audit, operate wash tanks, and operate some manual operations
Interpret Job Instruction Sheet, Standard Work Documents, GageIt (gage tracking), CMM data, and monitor Infinity processes
Work overtime as required to support manufacturing requirements
Troubleshoot to solve everyday problems
Demonstrate flexibility to float from one machine to another
Manage time and work well in a team environment
Stay in section for 12 months except for promotion or nights to days move
